How Not to Get Robbed in BCN
Perhaps this is too soon for me to write this, because I fear jinxes. I just knocked on my desk, though, so that should help, even though I think it might be fake wood.
- Stay focused and look pissed/focused when walking by bus stations, train stations, etc. and when using the metro, esp. when getting on/off
- Have a bag that zips and keep it under your shoulder.
- Keep your bag in your lap when in cafes, restaurants
- Go out with a clutch, never set it down.
- Don’t leave camera out when not taking pictures; zip bag always.
- Don’t set down bag/bags. Ever.
- If you have to consult a map, try to do so somewhat in private. Make sure bagged is zipped.
- Don’t respond to people who even seem the slightest bit shady, esp. when walking by bus and train stations, etc.
