There’s a sign that’s out of shot in the pic (upper left is where it actually is). “Aqui viu gent,” meaning “people live here (chill out).” It’s right in front of the Santa Maria Basilica church (speaking of which, I need to read that book about the church’s history and Barcelona…it’s a bestseller…). One of my friends just moved around the corner to a place in a building so old and proud the stone steps up are concave. She lives there with two English teachers from England, nice, young guys, and their water is heated by a fire.
